In 2020 Karen formed part of the leadership team that set up the Chiswick Flower Market, the first of several markets that revitalised the area by creating a monthly attraction, ‘a Columbia Road for West London.’ This has now become well-established and attracts thousands of visitors. Karen led on a major project to improve the public realm, ‘Ginkgo Corner’, which was unveiled in April 2025.
